The Weirdest Shows On Cable TV

Between cable television and the internet, there’s a lot of programming available for viewers these days. Sure, a lot of it is just filler and fluff. After all, when you look at your cable package, how many of those channels do you actually watch? Probably only a handful. Even then, on the channels you do watch, there’s a good chunk of programming that just isn’t for you. Online, show lineups can be better adjusted to suit your tastes. From sports to documentaries, reality television to dramas – there’s no shortage of good programming out there to satiate your inner couch potato. Of course, there’s also no shortage of absolutely terrible programming to fill your day either.
Then there’s the stuff that is just weird. These are the programs you watch with that look on your face which can make others think you are trying to multiply 764 and 872 in your head. You know the shows – the kind you sit and stare at for at least a few minutes, desperately trying to figure out what the heck is going on or what the point is. The show in question can actually be funny, entertaining or captivating. After all, weird doesn’t always mean bad. Weird just means that it doesn’t seem to be normal and follow the direction of other shows on tv. As you’ll see with these examples, weird programs can be very popular but they have been labelled as weird because they are either unconventional or seemingly pointless.
